How to realize safety interlock automatic loading of liquid hazardous chemicals


At present, the safety accidents that often occur during loading and unloading of liquid hazardous chemicals are as follows:

 

(1)When electrostatic grounding clip is abnormally connected to the tanker during loading and unloadingprocess,
tanker is not properly grounded, resulting in safety accidents such as explosion or fire;
 
(2)There is no oil overflow switch during loading process, and when flow meter has abnormal measurement, it will lead to a safety accident of tank leaking;
 

(3) During loading process, connection between bottom loading arm and tank truck is not in place. After loading is started, loading arm falls off due to liquid pressure, resulting in a safety accident of liquid leakage. veryserious;

 

(4) During loading process,driver did not place triangular wood behind front and rear wheels, resulting in a safety accident of vehicle slipping;
 
(5) When electrostatic grounding clamp and loading arm are not in place after loading and unloading truck, driver drives tanker away, resulting in a safety accident in which static grounding cable or loading arm is broken;
 
(6) After loading truck, there was a dispute with driver, the driver drove away without resolving dispute, resulting in unpredictable safety accidents;
 
Judging from above process of accidents, strengthening management and strict operation procedures can no
longer be foolproof; judging from consequences, consequences of any kind of accident are unimaginable, one is an
explosion, one is personal injury (burns, corrosion, poisoning, etc.). So how to provide effective protection for safe
loading of the liquid hazardous chemicals,As per safety design and application in the process of loading liquid
hazardous chemicals for many years, it is necessary to combine current automatic control technology, introduce
advanced safety technology and various intelligent sensors, and design a complete automatic control loading
system with safety interlock.
 
Following introduces supporting equipment and solutions of Autoware loading system from perspective
of safety interlocking and automatic control of loading.
Supporting equipment is mainly as follows:
 
(1) Electrostatic oil spill protector: it includes the electrostatic grounding clamp, theoverfill switch and the controller, 
which can automatically judge whether grounding is abnormal and whether there is oil overfill during loading. Once
an abnormality occurs, alarm signal will be output to the batch controller or Other automatic control systems are
interlocked with valves and pumps and generate sound and light alarms, effectively avoiding first and second types
of safety accidents.
(2) Loading arm homing parking coupler: it includes top-loading and bottom-loading arm homing parking coupler, which can automatically judge homing status of loading arm, and output detected status signal to batch controller or other
automatic control systems , effectively avoiding the fifth type of safety accident.
(3) Explosion-proof truck stopper: it includes explosion-proof truck stopper controller and barrier gate, batch controller can
automatically open and lift gate according to loading process, effectively avoiding the fifth type of safety accident.
(4) Key manager: insert slot car key into a key control box, manager can judge whether key is inserted into slot, and connect
signal to batch controller, and batch controller automatically controls key manager according to loading process ,switchof
door effectively avoids the third and fifth safety accidents.
(5) Truck slipping alarm: it is composed of a controller and a retractable steel wire. Steel wire is connected to tank truck. When
tank truck moves, controller generates an alarm signal, which is connected to batch controller, and batch controller stops
and loads vehicle in an emergency. , effectively avoiding the fourth type of safety accident.
(6) AL2543 Bottom Loading Arm Connection Detector: It can be easily installed to quick connector at end of loading arm. When
it is connected to tanker, it can judge whether connection is abnormal, and connect abnormal signal to the batch controller.
Batch controller determines whether to stop loading vehicle according to signal state, effectively avoiding the sixth type of
safety accident.
(7) Human body electrostatic discharge alarm: it consists of an electrostatic discharge ball and an alarm. Driver must touch
human body electrostatic discharge alarm before loading. Detection signal is connected to batch controller. If driver fails
to touch it,Do not start loading for batch controller, which effectively avoids explosion caused by static electricity after
safety accident occurs.
(8) Voice prompt controller: It is connected to batch controller through RS485 communication, and can play more than 200
voice records. It can realize unified playback after alarm information is summarized, and alarm content is clear, avoiding
the voice alarm of multiple devices in one loading space interference.
Operation steps to realize safety interlock automatic loading:
 
Step 1: After driver parks truck in the loading space, contact human body to release static electricity alarm;
Step 2: Insert key into key manager and close door;
Step 3: Connect electrostatic grounding clamp, oil overfill switch, loading arm homing parking coupler, loading arm connection
detector and vehicle slipping alarm;
Step 4: Start loading, batch controller will judge detection signals of equipment in the first three steps. As long as one step is 
not operated correctly, loading process cannot be started, and a voice prompt will be generated at the same time. After
detection is normal, batch controller will send an instruction to the explosion-proof car stop, and then open valve and
start pump to start loading process;
Step 5: During loading process, status of electrostatic grounding clamp, oil overfill switch, loading arm homing parking coupler,
loading arm connection detector and car slipping alarm will be monitored in real time. Once there is any abnormality, 
loading process will be automatically stopped immediately;
Step 6: After loading is completed,driver disassembles electrostatic grounding clip, oil overfill switch, loading arm, and car 
slipping alarm. batch controller will monitor the signal status of each device in real time. If disassembly is normal, batch
controller will output a signal, key manager automatically opens door and lifts barrier gate of explosion-proof car stop,
so that driver can drive away from parking space.

Electrostatic Oil Spill Protector
