Introduction to depot area and system architecture:

The LPG tank farm is the LP storage base of Hong Kong NewOcean Energy in Zhuhai, which Has 9 spherical tanks and 8 horizontal tanks with total capacity of 35,000m3. It is divided into two parts:large tank storage area and bottling area and it is provided with one self-built 10,000-tonnage terminal. 

The whole system adopts open distributed system architecture to achieve “decentralized control,centralized management and information sharing” and it specifically includes:

Tank capacity measurement subsystem

Use high-precision radar level gauge of EMERSON Company, KORHNE and E+H Company and TANKMASTER tank capacity calculation software.

Data acquisition monitoring and management subsystem

The tank farm terminal uses GE 90 series controller, 1 set of process I/O, 2 sets of GE upper computer system and GE CIMPLICITY HMI industrial configuration software. 

Process control instrument

Use electric cut-off ball valve imported from Japan, 3051 transmitter, level switch and EMERSON mass flowmeter, etc. 

Fire alarm subsystem

Fire alarm system uses Beijing Lida fire alarm buttons and controllers; combustible gas alarm system uses ES2000 series products of Shenzhen ExSaf Company.

Oil receiving & delivery monitoring and management subsystem

Use AWZC series loading management system and software; site supporting equipments include: EMERSON mass flowmeter, EMERSON 788 numerical control electro-hydraulic valve and ESD oil-overflow protector, etc. 

Network and remote service sharing system

Network interconnection with the customs and transmit corresponding real-time data to the customs monitoring system.
