On December 10, the 2024 Annual Meeting of the Inland River Subcommittee of the Technical Committee of China Classification Society (CCS) was successfully held in Zhijiang,Hubei. Mr. Cheng Ping, Chairman of our company, was invited to attend the meeting and shared a wonderful speech entitled "Development and Prospects of New Energy Ship Supporting Industry".

In his speech, Chairman Cheng deeply analyzed the current status of alternative fuels used in ships, shared our company's achievements and future plans in the research and development of new energy ship supporting equipment, especially the innovative practices in methanol fuel and LNG fuel supply systems, which won wide praise and high evaluation from the guests.
It is worth mentioning that at this meeting, the ship methanol fuel supply system developed by our company successfully obtained the first ship methanol fuel supply system design principle approval (AIP) certificate in Central China issued by China Classification Society (CCS), marking another milestone achievement of our company in new energy ship fuel supply technology.
Prior to this, our ship LNG fuel supply system had taken the lead in obtaining the ship LNG fuel supply system design principle approval (AIP) certificate issued by CCS. So far, our company has successfully obtained the AIP certification for two new energy supply systems: methanol fuel and LNG fuel for ships. This is not only an authoritative recognition of our company's technological innovation capabilities and product quality, but also a firm commitment and practical action to promote the green and low-carbon transformation of the shipping industry and achieve sustainable development goals.

The Marine Methanol Fuel Supply System

The Marine Methanol Fuel Supply System is a system specifically designed to pump and regulate methanol for injection into marine engines. The system follows the engine manufacturer's specific requirements for flow, injection pressure and temperature to ensure optimal fuel supply. Methanol (chemical formula CH₃OH, often abbreviated as MeOH) is a widely used chemical with good fuel properties. The main goal of the system is to ensure that the delivery of methanol from the service tank to the engine is accurately regulated to meet the needs of engine operation.
In this system, methanol circulates at a high flow rate through the injector pump block at a constant pressure at the appropriate temperature. Regardless of its type or manufacturer, this design ensures that the engine can operate efficiently under different output requirements. Through the optimized control of this system, marine engines can achieve stable performance and reliable fuel supply during operation.
The system uses liquefied natural gas (LNG) as fuel to provide ships with a clean and efficient energy supply. LNG has the characteristics of high calorific value and low emissions, and is an important choice for the shipping industry to achieve green transformation.
